Our purpose

So Sei Es

Fight poor taste. Fight real poverty. Half of the company's value goes to people in Austria who can't afford food.

“Amen” is often the last word before a meal. So we make sure everyone has something on the table.

Every can of Amen carries a promise. Not a marketing line, not a rounding error at the end of a good year — a fixed, automatic share of our profit that leaves our hands and lands on someone's plate.

How it works

50% of company value goes to fighting food poverty.

01

The need

Around 420,000 people in Austria depend on food assistance. Over 1.1 million live with food poverty. It is not a distant problem — it is a weekly queue in our own city.

02

The mechanic

50% of the company's value goes to people in Austria who can't afford food. It is written into how Amen is built, not decided case by case.

03

The partner

Caritas Le+O — Lebensmittel und Orientierung. Weekly food distribution paired with social counselling for households living in poverty.

Caritas Le+O

Le+O stands for Lebensmittel und Orientierung — food and orientation. Caritas collects food that would otherwise be thrown away and hands it on at neighbourhood distribution points across Vienna.

  • Weekly food packages for a symbolic contribution, for households living below the poverty line.
  • Social counselling on site — rent, debt, benefits, work — so a food package is also a way out.
  • Run largely by volunteers, with rescued food from retailers and producers.
Amen Madonna

Fight poor taste.
Fight real poverty.

One beer won't end food poverty. A whole brewery pointed at it might make a dent. So sei es.
